IIT Bombay wraps Phase 1 placements with 1,300+ offers

Consulting, quant and product roles led the pack, with the median CTC climbing 12% year on year.

IIT Bombay concluded Phase 1 of the 2026 campus placements this week with over 1,300 offers rolled out across 260 recruiters. Consulting and quant firms led the charge, and 84 international offers were made — the highest count in the institute's history. The average CTC crossed ₹28 LPA, with a median of ₹22 LPA.
